We are implementing Odoo ourselves and could use assistance

In any case, we always prefer to deliver on a time&material basis and we use Odoo to transparently report all the activities delivered and time spent. In case you are fully satisfied with the service your implementation partner is providing, the simple answer is - you do not need to.

It is true that Odoo support can help you with most of the things you might need. But it has a few downsides:
- There is no single point of contact. So any time you request help through Odoo support ticket, you have to re-explain your business context, explain what do you need and hope for the best.
- Often, it can take days to get an initial reply, while getting to a proper solution can take even longer.
- For any customizations or advanced configuration of system, Odoo support will not help you, unless you buy a dedicated support pack from Odoo.
- Odoo is a rapidly growing company - and while inside the company they have experts for everything you may need, it is not always easy to get a hold of them. We have years of experience with various Odoo implementations in various industries and that comes as a package that's available to you without further delays.
